National News: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday made it clear that he will now remain a part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and will not take any kind of political turn in future. Speaking from the stage at the inauguration ceremony of Khelo India Youth Games, Nitish said many important things about his political journey and current attitude.

Emotional reference to Nitish

During the ceremony, Nitish Kumar reminded of his old relationships, saying,"Who made me the Chief Minister? Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. I will always stay here."This statement was not only a memory of the past, but also a public announcement of his commitment with the NDA before the upcoming assembly elections.

Political journey

Nitish Kumar's political visit is considered to be the most complex and dynamic in Indian politics. Nitish, who had been an ally of BJP since the 1990s, broke into the NDA in 2013 when Narendra Modi was declared the PM candidate.

In 2015, he joined hands with Lalu Prasad Yadav and won a great victory by forming a grand alliance. But it did not last long and in 2017 he returned to the shade of BJP again.

In 2022, once again broke the alliance and laid the foundation of the Indie alliance. But before 2024, he took another reversal and joined the NDA again.

I will not do 'turn' now

Nitish Kumar's reiteration from Khelo India platform that he will now remain in NDA, not just a simple statement but an attempt to stabilize political equations. They said, "Now I will not go here and there. The party sent me first, but now I have decided-this is my place." This statement is considered to be a step to strengthen the trust between the BJP-JDU.

NDA gets support, opposition's strategy shocks

Nitish Kumar's situation is still very important in Bihar politics. His frequent change of alliance kept political instability. But now after his announcement, the NDA will get support in the upcoming assembly elections.
Experts believe that this stand of Nitish can become a big challenge for Indy alliance and Grand Alliance, as he tried to bring many regional leaders on one platform.

Last bet or new beginning?

It is too early to say whether this statement of Nitish is his final political situation or it is just a part of the electoral strategy. But one thing is clear - Nitish now wants to make "political stability" a new identity.
